4/1 The top predator - Filter

Hey all! So update on our trout! I added about 5 gallons of water (with some extra good bacteria (NovAqua). There is some good, bad, and ugly news.

Let's start with the bad/ and ugly news:

We lost 4 fish due to the predator filter. :(. This we because some of the fish swam INTO the protection basket due to the high level of water AND got stuck in the filter. Some fish got sucked to the filter from the basket touching the filter.

The good news:

I have taken out some water secured the protection basket (keep the water level below the basket). The fish are getting strong and swimming against the water filter current (awesome!).

We have about 66 baby trout stay strong! All the hardness and ammonia levels are great!
